이는 가장 보편적으로 볼 수 있는 휴대전화 판매처로, 길거리에 위치한 매장에서 핸드폰을 판매합니다. 휴대전화 판매 로드샵은 정말 한국의 번화가 어디를 방문해도 볼 수 있습니다. 월세와 직원 비용 등 유지 비용이 발생하기 때문에 다른 곳에서 구매할 때보다 휴대전화의 가격이 비싼 경우도 있을 수 있습니다. 보통 요란한 음악과 외관을 가지고 있습니다.

한국의  대표 통신사인 SK텔레콤, KT, LG유플러스를 통해 여러분의 휴대전화를 개통할 수 있습니다. 요즘에는 더 저렴한 알뜰 통신사도 많이 이용하고 있지만 그 종류가 워낙 방대하고 외국인의 경우 주의할 점이 더 있기에, 한국의 대표 통신사 3개만 소개하도록 하겠습니다.

외국인의 경우 한국에서 휴대전화를 구매할 때, 비자 종류에 따라 선불, 후불, 할부회선 세 가지 방법을 이용할 수 있습니다. 선불 방법이란 충전된 금액의 유심카드를 구매하는 방법입니다. 선불 방법은 핸드폰을 구매할 때 통신 3사의 혜택을 받을 수 없습니다. 하지만 거의 대부분의 비자를 가진 외국인 분들이 사용할 수 있는 방법이라는 이점이 있습니다. 후불 방법은 신규 개통이 가능하며, 핸드폰을 구매할 때 통신 3사의 구매 혜택을 받을 수 있습니다. 하지만 기기 할부 구매가 어렵습니다. 또한 C, B, D-3, E-0 비자 등을 가지고 계신 외국인 분들은 사용할 수 없는 방법입니다. 마지막으로 할부회선 방법은 핸드폰을 구매할 때 기기를 할부로 결제하여 구매할 수 있습니다. 외국인 분들 중 A, D-2, D-5~8, F, H-2와 같은 비자를 가진 분들이 사용하실 수 있습니다.
여기서 주의할 점이 있습니다. 선불 유심 카드 구입 방법을 제외하고 후불 방법과 할부회선 방법을 이용하려면 이용료를 지불하기 위해 한국 은행의 계좌를 가지고 있어야 합니다. 외국인으로서 한국은행의 계좌를 가지고 있지 않은 경우, 한국 국적 대리인의 신분증을 제시하여 대리인의 계좌를 사용할 수도 있습니다.

 

For foreigners, when purchasing a mobile phone in Korea, you can use three methods: prepaid, postpaid, and installment line depending on the type of visa. Prepaid is the method of purchasing a charged USIM card. The prepaid method cannot benefit from the three carriers when purchasing a cell phone. But it has the advantage of being a method that most foreigners with visas can use. The postpaid method can be newly opened, and you can receive the purchase benefits of three telecommunication companies when you purchase a mobile phone. However, it is difficult to purchase the device in installments. Also, foreigners with C, B, D-3, and E-0 visas cannot use this method. Lastly, the installment line method can be purchased by paying the device in installments when purchasing a cell phone. Foreigners with visas such as A, D-2, D-5~8, F, and H-2 can use it.
Here's what to watch out for. To use the postpaid and installment line methods, except for the prepaid SIM card purchase method, you must have an account in the Bank of Korea to pay the fee. If you do not have an account with a Korean bank as a foreigner, you can also use the account of the agent by presenting the identification card of the Korean nationality agent.
