스터디 카페는 최근에 새롭게 한국에 생긴 것인데요.
이전에는 독서실이 운영되었어요. 독서실은 이름 그대로 책을 읽으면서 조용히 공부할 수 있도록 만들어진 공간이에요. 독서실은 정숙한 공간에 커다란 칸막이가 있는 책상이 줄지어 있는 곳으로 이곳 역시 시간 단위로 돈을 받고 이용하거나 한 달 단위로 한번에 결재를 하여 사용하는 방식이에요.
이런 전통적인 모습의 독서실은 오래전부터 한국에 있었지만 2017년 이후 새롭게 등장한 스터디 카페에 자리를 내주고 점차 사라지고 있는데요. 그렇다면 왜 스터디 카페가 독서실보다 인기를 얻고 있는 걸까요?

Study room: Double room + reservation is available every 30 minutes for more than 1 hour. I recommend that you register first when you make a reservation for a study room.

스터디카페 이용방법
대부분의 스터디 카페는 키오스크를 이용하여 무인으로 운영됩니다.
키오스크에서 좌석결제시스템을 사용하는 경우:
1. 핸드폰번호를 입력합니다. (아이디와 패스워드를 제작하고 로그인하는 키오스크도 있습니다.)
2. 원하시는 좌석 혹은 스터디룸을 선택합니다.
3. 이용시간을 선택합니다. (일일이용권, 시간권, 등등)
4. 영수증 혹은 핸드폰을 통해 바코드를 받으시면 바코드를 사용하여 입장을 하시면 됩니다.
5. 와이파이 혹은 잔여시간 등등의 정보는 등록하신 전화번호를 통해 받으실 수 있습니다.
6. 시간연장 혹은 시간 충전을 원하시면 키오스크에서 연장하시면 됩니다.
How to use the study cafe
Most study cafes are operated unattended using kiosks.
If the kiosk uses the seat payment system:
1. Enter your mobile phone number. (There is also a kiosk that creates and logs in your ID and password.)
2. Select your preferred seat or study room.
3. Select the hours of use. (Day passes, time passes, etc.)
4. If you receive a barcode through a receipt or cell phone, you can enter using the barcode.
5. Information such as Wi-Fi or remaining time can be received through the registered phone number.
6. If you want to extend the time or charge the time, you can extend it at the kiosk.
