한국에서 인터넷으로 하는 99% 모든 일에 대해서는 '본인인증 / 실명인증'을 진행해야해요.
외국인인 나도 ... 본인인증 받을 수 있을까?
We need to proceed with 'self-certification/real name authentication' for all 99% of the work done on the Internet in Korea. I'm a foreigner, so... Will I be able to verify myself?
외국인이어도 ✨본인명의의 한국 전화번호✨가 있다면 인증이 가능합니다.
Even if you are a foreigner, you can authenticate if you have a Korean phone number ✨ under your name ✨.
근데 여기서 주의해야할 점이 3가지 있는데요
But there are three things to be careful here
1. 유심 개통은 외국인 등록증으로 할 것 / The USIM should be opened with a foreign registration card.
한국에 오고나서 바로 외국인 등록증이 없기 때문에 여권을 이용하여 개통하는 경우가 있는데요.
여권으로 개통할 경우 본인인증 확인이 불가능해요
Since you don't have an alien registration card right after coming to Korea, there are cases where you use your passport to open it. If you open it with a passport, you can't verify your identity.
어쩔 수 없이 여권으로 개통해야 한다면
1. 나중에 정보를 수정/추가할 수 있는지
2. 번호를 계속 유지하며 외국인 등록증으로 다른 새 유심을 신청할 수 있는지 미리 확인해보세요
If you have to open it with a passport,
1. Whether information can be modified/added later
2. Keep your number and check in advance if you can apply for another USIM with your alien registration card.
2. 유심 개통시 이름을 대문자로 작성할 것 / Write the name in capital letters when opening the USIM.
외국인 등록증과 여권에 표시도니 이름을 대문자로 작성해 유심을 개통해야해요
You need to capitalize your name and sign it on your alien registration card and passport to open.

실제로 유심을 개통할 때 이름을 소문자로 작성했던 외국인 친구들은 나중에 본인인증을 진행할 때 이름을 아무리 써도 인증이 안되는 문제가 있었어요
In fact, foreign friends who wrote their names in lowercase when they opened the USIM had a problem that they couldn't be authenticated no matter how many times they used their names for their identification later.
3. 유심 개통은 꼭 대면으로 할 것 / Make sure to open the USIM face-to-face.
유심 개통은 직접 공식 인증 대리점에서 해야해요
시간이 없어서 비대면으로 신청하는 경우가 있는데 이럴 경우 예상하지 못하는 문제가 발생하기 쉬워요
아무리 바빠도 하루에 2시간정도만 비워서 직접 개통하러 가세요
You have to open the USIM directly at the official certification agency.
There are times when you apply face-to-face because you don't have time, but in this case, it's easy to have unexpected problems.
No matter how busy you are, just leave two hours a day to open it yourself.
모든 것에대해 본인인증/실명인증을 하는 점이 불편하고 귀찮을 수 있지만
